Laser Lipo is a nonsurgical laser treatment that aids in weight loss. It is a treatment that should be incorporated with a healthy diet and high cardiovascular exercise and/or weight training – without these factors in place the treatment will not work! Laser Lipo is ideal for stubborn fatty areas – around the tummy, thighs, buttocks, upper arms or calf muscle area.

This treatment obtains centimetre loss around the stubborn fatty  areas by filtering in a cold laser through 4 large paddles that is strapped around the body. The cold laser is released in 650 nm wavelengths into the body, these wavelengths filter into the skin and forces the membrane of the fat cell to disintegrate, the triglycerides in the fat cell is then dispelled.

(In humans, triglycerides are a mechanism for storing unused calories, and their high concentrations in blood correlates with the consumption of starchy and fatty foods.)

The treatment is completely painless – and the patient can completely relax during the sessions.

The patient should then exercise within a day of the treatment or as soon as possible after the session to increase micro circulation and lymph drainage in the area to carry away the freely available triglycerides from the area to the excretion organs of the body or to be burned up as fuel for the body’s exertions.

Drinking lots of water, Green tea and any detox teas can assist with further weight loss as well as a detoxifying affect just after sessions and during the intervals between sessions.

A healthy diet consisting of whole grained foods, vegetables, fruit and protein (meat) is advised.

Alcohol is one of the biggest causes of weight gain and reducing the amount consumed can cause great weight loss results.

A minimum of 8- 10 sessions are recommended per area to obtain satisfactory results.

1 session = 1 area

R500 per session

1-2 day intervals between each treatment.

Patients on very strong medications or have mild to severe hormonal imbalances should inform the therapist as this could be a contraindication to the Laser Lipo treatments
