cholesterol / fordyce spots

Xanthelasma aka Cholesterol spots: A condition caused by a collection of yellowish cholesterol deposits underneath the skin around the eyes.

Fordyce spots: Fordyce spots are whitish-yellow bumps that can occur on the edge of your lips or inside your cheeks. Less often, they can appear on your penis or scrotum if you’re male or your labia if you’re female. Are harmless and painless.

Post procedure: A light crusting with a mild degree of swelling will be visible covering the lasered sites which will dry out and flake after 4 – 7 days +/-. The soft pinkish skin that is exposed needs to be protected with a sun block daily until natural skin colouring returns.
